PUPPY’S HELL
He woke up in a dark room, a long long way from home
They had him in a small cage, Timmy feeling so alone
Where can I be, this place is new to me
What funny smell, could this be puppy’s hell?
I’m only one of many, they keep up on this shelf
This has to be a nightmare, Timmy’s saying to himself
In through the door, the face he’s seen before
The white-coat-men, bring out their knives again
No, don’t take me, let me live for another day
Don’t take me, let me be, let me live for another day
He remembers the scent of summer
Under the leaves of the old oak tree
He remembers the big blue ocean
Oh, how he would play by the big blue sea
We’ve got to meet the market, the world needs new perfume
The white-coats talk about it, they step into Timmy’s room
Must understand, there is this big demand
But first we try, so Timmy you must die
No, don’t take me, let me live for another day
Don’t take me, let me be, let me live for another day
No, don’t take me, let me live for another day
Don’t take me, let me be, let me live for another day
He remembers the scent of summer
Under the leaves of the old oak tree
He remembers the big blue ocean
Dreams of the time he could wander free
Could this be puppy’s hell?
Could this be puppy’s hell?
No, don’t take me, let me live for another day
Don’t take me, let me be, want to live just another day
No, don’t take me
